We of the West Neck Pod have been swimming outdoors long and often enough to know that when you arrive on the beach and the current is running one way and the wind is blowing from the other, you're in for a rocky ride...and that's what seven of us had this morning as we were tossed like so many salads from beach to buoy and back again! But after the water had its way with us, we all arrived smiling on the beach, congratulating ourselves and each other on another perfectly gorgeous, exhilarating, can't-wait-to-do-it-again open water swim...See you Sunday morning at 8?
