Don't Miss the 2011 Global Open Water Swimming Conference in NYC

June 17th, 18th and 19th are the dates for the 2011 Global Open Water Swimming Conference, to be held in New York City at Columbia University, with the final day's events -- including the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame induction ceremonies -- to be held at the United Nations!  The conference is organized by Steven Munatones, Marathon Swimming Hall-of-Famer and creator of the blog "The Daily News of Open Water Swimming," the premier source of information and anecdotes by, for and about the global open-water swimming community. The Conference program will include workshops and presentations by numerous well-known open-water swimming personalities, as well as the opportunity to obtain certification as an open-water swimming coach.  The Conference is being held in conjunction with the annual Manhattan Island Marathon Swim, whose long-time record-holder Shelley Taylor-Smith will be among the Conference speakers.  Register now at http://www.openwatersource.com/2011-global-open-water-swimming-conference.html and join your fellow open-water swimmers in learning more about and celebrating this extraordinary sport and its practitioners!
